Over 100 girls attended the 2011 event, “A Girls World to Explore – Dream It, Design It, Build It”, which provided girls with opportunities for career explorations in areas they would not usually experience.  Activities included Draw It-Computer Aided Design; Girls With Technology-Computers; Tool Box Divas-Carpentry; Dream It-Engineering; Girls With Tools-Home Repairs; Create It-Interior Design; and Design It-Architecture.  Girl Scouts may earn patches for attending the workshop. 

The response to the Badge Days/Workshops has been overwhelming, and participation continues to grow.  This effort has improved the image of the construction industry by introducing students, some of whom are the future leaders of our community, to the rewarding and diverse career opportunities available in construction.
