WKCA has a full-time safety professional, Chris Nelson, on staff. Assistance is available to members on safety-related issues, whether it be the formulation of a company safety program, day-to-day safety matters, or assistance in contesting KOSHA/OSHA citations. The WKCA staff has been instrumental in assisting its members in recovering thousands of dollars of potential fines levied for ALLEGED safety violations.
The WKCA Safety Van can bring safety talks directly to your shop or jobsite. The van is equipped with a TV/VCR, and there are over 100 safety topics available. Talks last approximately 20 minutes and are available to fit your work schedule, such as before work or during breaks.
An extensive safety video library is available at WKCA, and tapes may be checked out by members at no charge.
